Painting plam trees fruits in watercolor

Fall has arrived and even in Barcelona we feel some coldness in the air ! It’s the ideal season to paint fruits and berries with lots of warm color. I don’t have rose hips here, but i do have palm trees !

This painting is really just about fruits trunk and leaves. But in my reference image there is a lot going on. Especially on the texture side. So i’ll have to decide what’s important in order to get the right focus. I want the fruits to be the star in this painting so they will be more detailed. For the trunk and leaves i still need a bit of texture in order for you to understand the painting, but it can be not so detailed. I really want everything in the painting guiding your eye towards the fruits.
